There will two accommodation blocks booked at Acadia University (Wolfville) and the Old Orchard Inn (Wolfville Ridge) with group rates for the ARS 2025 Spring Convention.

We  will  have a shuttle  bus from  the Old  Orchard Inn to Acadia University for breakfast and from Devour Studios back to the accommodation after our sessions.

• Call the hotel directly 800 561 8090 and tell us they’re attending the American Rhododendron Society Event

• Enter date:
• Add ‘Group’ Code:    2506ARSSOC

• • Screen will then display rooms available in the block for guests to reserve.

The reservation deadline is May 1 2025 so please book rooms before this date.

• Thursday night:  Hotel Rooms for $259 – $269 per night based on single/double occupancy.   Cottages for $209 – $219 per night based on single/double occupancy.
• Friday or Saturday night  $279 per night based on single/double occupancy.  Cottages for $229 – $239 per night based on single/double occupancy.

Acadia University:

Roy Jodrey Hall, Acadia University, Wolfville, NS.   Rooms range from $75 to $225 plus tax.

Nova Scotia Highways and Points of Entry

For travelers arriving by road the communities listed below are your main points of entry.

• Amherst is the first community you enter after crossing the border from New Brunswick on Trans Canada Highway 104.
• Two scenic travel routes begin at Amherst: the Sunrise Trail (Route 6) along the Northumberland Shore and the Glooscap Trail (Route 2) along the Bay of Fundy in the Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region.
• Caribou, Pictou County is the location of the Northumberland Ferries’ terminal where ferries travel daily between May 1 and mid-December to and from Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island. Highway 106 leads from the ferry terminal to the Pictou Rotary and the Northumberland Shore.
• North Sydney is the ferry terminal location for the ferry service traveling from Port-aux-Basques and Argentia, Newfoundland & Labrador. North Sydney is at the eastern end of Trans Canada Highway 105.
• Digby is the location of Bay Ferries Limited Terminal where ferries travel daily, year-round to and from Saint John, New Brunswick. This route connects to the Trans Canada Highway 101 in Digby County.
• Yarmouth is the location of Bay Ferries Limited Terminal where The CAT highspeed ferry travels seasonally (May through October) between Bar Harbor, Maine and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Yarmouth is the start of the Trans Canada Highway 103.
